King’s Cafe Now Open

Vermilion Voice

Parkview Alliance Church held their Grand Opening of King’s Cafe at the Edge building in Vermilion on October 24.

According to Adam Kennedy, Youth and Young Adults Pastor, a lot of hands helped to prepare the space.

“Anyone in the community is welcome to enjoy the cafe as a place to connect, hang out, and relax. We are hoping that it fills a need in the community for a common place where people can be together. The goal is to have a space that blesses the community,” said Kennedy.

King’s Cafe is open Tuesdays from 5 – 8:30 p.m. and a variety of reasonably priced specialty coffees are available. You have the option to visit, work, study, play a board game or bring one (no purchases necessary). You may choose to order a classic latte, vanilla bean latte, mocha, hot chocolate, caramel macchiato, chai tea latte, London fog, Americano, or espresso. They were pleased to find a regional supplier, and also offer homemade desserts and other snacks.

Multiple visitors stopped by during the grand opening to experience the atmosphere and try their goods. Visitor Rachel Valleau said, “I love that there is a coffee shop in Vermilion, and the chance to try other options.”
