Hundreds of people gathered at Uniquely U Styles to peruse over 4,000 new ladies wear items as they opened for business in Vermilion on February 1.
The new store carries a selection of dressy, casual, leisurewear clothing and accessories in youth sizes - women’s 3X. They are expecting another 1,500 items to continue arriving daily including some footwear. Their current location is temporary but will remain in Craig’s Cornerstone; moving to another section of the building later this spring.
“We look forward to serving every one of you in our new venture,” said manager, Linda Boychuk who was very enthusiastic.
According to owner, Rita Elliot, the pair decided to open the store shortly after finding out there would be a need in Vermilion. They began buying within two weeks, and plan to keep affordable pricing for the products available which include updated fashions from London, Italy, and Greece. Elliot went on to say that half of the products in the new store are Canadian made and that they have selected brands their customers have come to love plus so many more.
“We wanted to keep a full ladies wear option in the community. We have a passion for what we do.
We would like to thank all of our supporters, as well as John and Doug Stewart. They have been fabulous to work with, and they even helped by greeting customers on our first day,” said Elliot.
Overall patrons enjoyed refreshments and browsing the latest option to find women’s trendy fashions in Vermilion.
