Crackmasters Windshield Repair & Replacement Specialists opened in Vermilion at 4501 - 46 Avenue on March 2.
Mayor, Caroline McAuley presented a certificate in recognition of their opening day.
“Congratulations, this is fabulous. We need to have these services in town, and the location is excellent and a great addition to the community,” said McAuley.
The owner, Rocky Allen, looks forward to a new line of work and to serving the community that he grew up in. Allen owned an oilfield business for the past 12 years and worked in the oilfield for 21 years. He feels this will provide a nice change of pace, not being on call and allowing him weekends.
“This is an absolutely new venture. I look forward to reacquainting with and meeting many new people. I would like to thank Certified Technician, Rob Horton, for the help getting organized and set up over the past month; and my wife, Tracy Allen, who will be the Receptionist,” said Allen.
Crackmasters in Vermilion will offer chip and crack repair, windshield replacement, as well as a full line of truck accessories; everything from wipers to wheels, interior and exterior.
“It’s a good idea to have chips and cracks fixed before more damage occurs,” added Allen.
With approximately 60 locations across Canada, the Northern Alberta division has won the Consumer Choice Award for the 15th consecutive year. Crackmasters Vermilion will continue to offer different promotions throughout the year.
