Country music star Brett Kissel was nominated for another Juno award for Single of the Year.

The award is for Kissel’s single, “Drink About Me” featured in his 2020 album “Now or Never”.

The singer songwriter was born and raised just north of St. Paul in Flat Lake, Alberta. The established singer picked up a guitar at an early age and released his first album “before he could even drive,” according to WarnerMusicCanada.ca. Kissel has achieved much in his career for having just reached 30 years old, with numerous gold and platinum plaques, top 10 radio singles, and number one hits, along with 18 CCMA awards and two Juno awards.

With all these achievements, Kissel is maintaining his momentum as his fifth major studio album, “What is Life” comes out on April 9.

“I’m entering a new era in my life, and I’m going to attempt to ask this old-as-time question: What Is Life? This latest album is a deep-dive into love, celebration, grace, gratitude, and hard truths,” reflects Kissel.

The Junos will broadcast on May 16. For more information, visit junoawards.ca. For more information on Brett Kissel, visit BrettKissel.com.
