Good ol’ St. Nick visited Vermilion back on November 25 during the Light Up parade, but the Vermilion Voice has received word from the jolly old elf that he will be returning one last time before the holidays to do a check for the naughty or nice and to have pictures taken with both young and old, pets, etc.
Santa has informed the Voice that he will be making an appearance at the Town Christmas tree in front of the Telus building on Dec 18 from 2-4 p.m. While visiting with Santa attendees will also be able to enjoy hot chocolate, homemade cookies, a propane fire, holiday music, and more.
Santa mentioned that he is very much looking forward to the extra visit and hopes that it will bring a lot of Christmas cheer to the residents of Vermilion.
“It is always good to make one last surprise visit, as it helps me check my list twice for the naughty and nice, and it also gives residents one last chance to have pictures of their children, pets, grandmas and grandpas, whoever taken before the big day,” commented Santa. He also noted that it can bring some extra cheer to the community, one thing he always looks forward to each year.
Residents are reminded to bring their cameras so they can take their photos.
